DÉTARTREUR is a powerful blend of mineral and organic acids, enhanced with wetting agents, antifoam additives, and corrosion inhibitors, designed for fast and effective removal of rust, limescale, mineral deposits, and hard-water buildup from industrial equipment. Its controlled-foam formula ensures efficient cleaning in circulation systems without excessive foaming.

Purpose

Formulated to remove and dissolve:

• Rust and iron oxide deposits

• Calcium and magnesium scale

• Mineral buildup inside boilers, evaporators, heat exchangers, piping systems, and other industrial equipment

Ideal for use in maintenance operations where scale and rust reduce equipment efficiency.

How to Use

1. Dilution: Prepare a 10–15% solution of DÉTARTREUR in water.

2. Circulation:

   • Circulate through the system until scale/rust is dissolved.

   • Can be used unheated, but for faster results heat solution to 60–65°C.

   • Do not exceed 70°C.

3. Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation of gases such as CO₂, hydrogen sulphide, or hydrogen that may form during cleaning.

   • Avoid open flames near equipment.

4. Flushing: After cleaning, flush with clean water.

5. Neutralization: Circulate a 1–2% solution of A-420 to neutralize any remaining acid.

6. Final Rinse:
   ALWAYS rinse with potable water if surfaces may contact food.

Precautions

• In case of skin or eye contact: rinse with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention
